A Lifetime Friend
October 15th, 2009 by mypastpresentandfutureI was at Paseban Klaten, at a site project, when an sms notified me that my special guest has arrived. Since I moved to Jogja for almost three months, he’s my third VVIP one. First sang begawan, second my angel, and the third is a lifetime friend.
I’m so excited. Finally he’s here. And not just that, as promised, instead of driving a luxury car with driver, he pick me up with a motorbike, and off course extra helmet. Amazing..I have a really special ojek driver with me.
That was the dinner at Gadjah Wong last nite, and continue with blogshop today, and kopdar tonite. I remember this is the event that I was part of the initiation. I’m so happy it happened, even I wasn’t there anymore. It was a new year party 2009, when we discuss it at the first place.
It’s been a long time we’re not seeing each other. I miss him and his wonderful events, he’s such a great event organizer and Nokia man, who connecting people across the circle.
He always wonder why I “disappear” from Jakarta. I just told him that I need a break to give myself an extra space for my mentally exhausted condition. And Jogja always the be best place, as it is home to me. I know I should get back, just a matter of time, my life is waiting. Maybe soon, maybe later, or maybe just direct to DC not Jakarta, or maybe another places on the globe. Never know what will happen in the future, I just do my part as a human, paint my dreams, give my best effort and let the universe do the rest.
He reminds me about my pledge on my 33th birthday last year, that we will always be friend, no matter what, wherever we will be on earth we will visit each other..
I know later on in our life, we will write another history for our both beloved countries, because we made one. And more to come..
“It’s a bless to have you in my life, even we’re distance, you know that you always have a special place in my heart. You’re the selected one. A true friend is the one who stay when everybody is leaving, the one who stand by my side through the stormy days. And you were there, stay and hold my hand and help me stand. I’m so grateful for that. Thanks you so much”.
When I look back, it’s so beautiful how we found each other. I remember it was at Presidential Office, both of us were working. It was a really hot day, I was so sweat, and a bit nervous to talk to him asked about my IVLP. That scene seems like long time ago, but it was just two years passed, and he will leave next year. Time flies, I hate to say goodbye, but I know there’s no goodbye for a lifetime friend, what we have to say just, see you later. Sampai jumpa lagi.
